Samsung will fully unveil about new handsets and Bixby in upcoming event in New york on 28 march. S8 and S8 plus also having a dedicated button for the Bixby. The latest rumors suggests Bixby will have visual search capabilities to analyze the image, identify objects and performing optical character recognition on visible text. Once activate, a search tool will appear allowing users to search for specific objects or ‘use optical character recognition to process any text.
Bixby rumors are started in january, that Samsung is planned to launch its own voice assistant on galaxy S8 and S8 plus. but we don't have the official confirmation by Samsung.
Samsung accidentaly confirms about the personal voice assistant Bixby on its website. An italian page found on samsung website clearly states 'commandi vocali con Bixby' , which means voice commands with Bixby when translated to english.
